My First Day As A Real Estate Agent:

DO NOT DO WHAT I DID!

The first day of actively working as a Real Estate Agent I sat there and waited for the phone to buzz. Crazy, right? I had 0 connections and a 0% chance of succeeding.

I figured that my 2 Facebook posts and the few text messages I sent out would result in at least a few sales. I was 1000% wrong!

It took 6 months for my first check to hit the bank because I was doing the exact opposite of what I should have been doing. Like I said before, I was waiting for clients to call me rather than me calling them.

If I had to start over today here’s what I would do.

  1. Sign up for smirc

  2. Consistently post quality content on all social media channels.

  3. Cold call at least 50 homeowners a week. I used Whitepages to get numbers

That’s It. If you want to excel in your first year and crush your competition follow those three steps. I guarantee you will see success in your first 2 weeks!
